THE PROVIDENCE STAFFING PLAN IS AS FOLLOWS:
DAY SHIFT Care Givers are considered Lead Care Givers and must have previous Assisted Living experience as well as a C.N.A. They work ten-hour shifts from 7 am to 5 pm. The work includes resident care and safety as well as order processing, med management, housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
NIGHT SHIFT Care Givers work 14 hour shifts from 5 pm to 7 am. They work 74-80 hours every two weeks. The work includes resident care and safety as well as housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep. Night shift must be AWAKE. There is some scheduled overtime for Night care givers.
HELPER Caregivers. Helpers shifts are scheduled 6 AM to 10 AM and 5 PM to 9 PM. They work together with the DAY and NIGHT LEADS, taking care of residents and helping with cleaning. They need not be C.N.A.’s.

Training: Care givers are buddy-trained by the Manager, and must also complete classroom training given by the Owner who is a RN.
Compensation: We pay hourly from $12 to $15 per hour. We pay overtime when applicable. Some Holidays earn extra pay. We provide premium assistance for you to purchase your own Health Policy.
Job Description: Caregivers do the resident care, cooking, cleaning, and medication assistance. Ratio is 4-8 residents to 1 Care giver, depending on time of day. This is an Advanced Care Giver job. You must be physically healthy, energetic, and enthusiastic about helping fragile elderly people, some of whom may have dementia. You must have good verbal communication skills, professional attitude, and be punctual. We treat our high quality staff like GOLD and recognize their contributions regularly.
Required Paperwork: New Hires 1) finger print check, 2) TB test, 3) First Aid, 4) C.P.R., 5) Georgia drivers license, 6) be able to pass a drug test. If you are from another state, you must provide a national background check. C.N.A. is optional, but preferred.
